Women Fighting for Women: How do we challenge injustice? – IJM Australia

Sadly, 570 million women around the world are subject to violence. Those victims need a strong justice system that can protect them and a positive, safe community that can help them reach their potential. Miriam Chura fights injustice by facing it with her actions such as leading other women and recognizing other women’s leadership skills on her team. Ruth Lawino tells women that they shouldn’t stay quiet and instead should speak out when they see something wrong. Staying silent is an injustice to women.
