Get ready for Victory – Over Slavery Gala 2025, 13 September 2025, at One Hope Baptist Church Geelong.
Hello, my name is Peta Soorkia and I am the founder of A Woman of Influence (AWI)
We had a great time on 14th September for our 2024 AWI gala at the fantastic venue One Hope Centre in Highton, Geelong.
A huge thanks to those who contributed, who prayed and who gave. To the wonderful team and to the Palmers who provided us with great music, to those who helped on the day as well as Vision Media represented by DJ, our MC once again.
We had fun, we danced, we laughed, and I think we cried at times and were personally impacted by the reality and shocking crimes against humanity – human trafficking.
Our event blended music, auctions, and friendship to fund rescue missions, aiming for a brighter future for those caught up through no fault of their own. We harmonized melodies with purpose, infused excitement through auctions, and fostered bonds of friendship. All for funding rescue missions, envisioning a better future filled with hope and opportunity.
All this is towards the cause of assisting A21 in their efforts to eradicate human trafficking, https://www.a21.org/content/human-trafficking

Thank you once again and God bless
YOUR GENEROSITY. THEIR BREAKTHROUGH
